Amazing that they'd let a skeleton wear such an expensive coat...and interesting to see all the scarecrows around town. A few years ago dummies took over the whole town of Ackley, Iowa (near me) year round! (Check out this news clip to see them.)Bethany Carsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06583914285773271009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5644132027994848214.post-29476839976467558532016-10-31T23:10:15.804-04:002016-10-31T23:10:15.804-04:00Hi Margie! I draw the line at a purple coat with a price tag of $900. You have the best little treats, and I think it's a cute quirky idea to bring in your own teacups. Such a tea nerd ;)
Love the scarecrows in the Valley! I remember Picone's "Market" from when I lived there ... ha! My mom would shop there before there was ever a thing called a "supermarket" (which involved driving). She would leave me and my brother home ALONE saying "I'm just going to Picone's Market, be right back". That was in the 60s when it was hip to leave your small children to fend for themselves for an hour. Glad to see Picone's is still thriving.
Wendy
PS I have to now wait a week to watch DS on my computer...it used to be I could watch it the next day :[September Violetshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10931133319044031928noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5644132027994848214.post-52208763980065180312016-10-31T16:19:03.626-04:002016-10-31T16:19:03.626-04:00You know how I enjoy your tea socials at work, Mar...You know how I enjoy your tea socials at work, Margie! Your selection of teacups are pretty ones, too. I do love your brownie witch's hat and wish I had one with a cuppa tea. Your Scarecrow Saturday looked like a fun event. How was the Pumpkin Spice tea? I was tempted to buy that brand when I saw it recently, but always wish I could sample some first. kitty@ Kitty's Kozy Kitchenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02803962513834013589noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5644132027994848214.post-60202204759173145662016-10-31T13:52:22.853-04:002016-10-31T13:52:22.853-04:00One of the things I miss about working is enjoying...One of the things I miss about working is enjoying the weekly treat days.
