Valentine Teas

I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day weekend.

Valentine's Day Countdown:

Day 8: Chocolate Orange Biscuit Cake black tea (Dessert by Deb)

Day 9: Chocolate Perfection Pie Hojicha (roasted green tea by Tea Amo)

Day 10: Sweet Tart herbal tea (DavidsTea)

Day 11: Casteal black tea (Geek+Tea)

Day 12: Chocolate Spice rooibos (Plan de Vida)

Day 13: Peppermint Patty black tea (Dessert by Deb)

Day 14: Hazelnut Chocolate pu-erh (DavidsTea)

My favourite tea from the Valentine countdown is Geek+Tea's As You Wish, a delicious blend of  black tea, organic  Oaxacan Mexican cacao, wild rose petals, cacao extract, and cardamom. Isn't the tea label--a recreation of Gustav Klimt's The Kiss--beautiful!

Think Pink!

Love potions by Teamancy

I've been wanting to try the teas by Teamancy, a Nova Scotian tea business, for months. Their cute Valentine tea cards were the perfect opportunity to try a sample of their unque teas!

Yes, I sent myself a Valentine.

It's called self-love!

The "Love Potions" were (L-R): Chocolate Strawberry, Raspberry Truffle, Spiced Vanilla, Lemon Berry.

This beautiful tea-for-one set was a birthday gift.

Love the pink glaze and HUGE mug!

The teapot came with a metal strainer.

The tea set is perfect for serving Valentine teas!

First Tea Haul of 2021: Dessert by Deb's Sweet Winter Brunch Collection

And just like that it's February.

 January tea empties

Oldest: Fairmont Lot 35 teabags (Dec 2018)

Newest: DavidsTea's Mandarin Mimosa rooibos (Dec 2020)

I'm proud to report that I was able to go over 6 WEEKS without buying any new teas. The Boxing Day/Week sales tempted me, but I resisted...

...because I knew I would go on a buying spree when Dessert by Deb launched her Sweet Winter Brunch collection in mid-January! This was my birthday gift to myself. As usual, Deb's packing is impeccable!

I treated myself to this pretty mint green teacup with the matching saucer and teabag, and these super cute coasters designed by Deb

I picked up 5 blends from the Sweet Winter Brunch collection, and 4 teas from her other collections.

I got the Cereal Milk and the Hojicha Cinnamon Raisin Bread Pudding teas free as part of the launch's bonus offers.

These adorable stationery and teal teabag holder were additional bonus goodies.

I'm not a big cereal person, but I enjoyed Cereal Milk's creamy flavour. Creamy teas are my jam!

Golden Pear Sunshine (an herbal tea with tumeric) is just what I need to brighten up these winter days.

The Sweet Winter Brunch Collection introduced another delicious orange tea: Orange Cinnamon Rolls black tea

Caramel Custard Flan rooibos tea is another creamy tea with a coconut twist!

Sipping these yummy Dessert by Deb teas have made lockdown much more tolerable!
