A Tree Grows in the Valley

Do you remember the teacup planter that I purchased last month?
So I planted an egg in it...

...and an Easter tree sprouted up!

It's Mini Egg season!
Left: a mini egg scone from Tea at the White House.
Right: mini egg shortbread from Harrington Lane Farm Village Shop.

These adorable bunnies and egg were handcrafted by my talented blogging friends.

Happy Easter!

New Season, New Logo!

I'm kicking off the spring season with a fun new logo/header photo that was designed by my talented friend. Thank you, Eddie! Please check out his other work at Eddie Ho Design.

Last Friday, we had a pop-up St. Patrick's Day tea at the office.
We enjoyed green tea (Banana Crush by For Tea's Sake's) and Irish-themed cookies.

I'm embarrassed to admit how long I've been saving Riston's "Margaret Tea" (hint: YEARS). When I realized that this chocolate truffle black tea contained Irish cream...

...I decided that it was the perfect tea to drink on St. Patrick's Day!

In the evening, I had a green tea (Kashmiri Chai by David's Tea) with a cupcake.

How did you celebrate the Irish holiday?

How Charming!

Since I don't have any shamrock teacups (yet...), I'm sharing this green vintage teacup in honour of St. Patrick's Day.

The dainty green teacup is decorated with white daisies.

The backstamp reveals that this "Charm" teacup is part of the Royal Albert Debutante Series that were produced during the 1960s-1970s.

I also loved the saucer's pretty design.

We continue marching towards spring!

Matcha Madness

Recently, I sampled an assortment of matcha-infused drinks and foods.

From Donut Monster: This delicious donut has a matcha-infused glaze.

From Foundy Ice Cream: Matcha Green Tea Ice Cream
(I am single-handedly keeping Foundry Ice Cream in business).

This was one of the best matcha ice cream that I've had!
I could have devoured a pint in one sitting, but I restrained myself.

From a friend: A tasty sample of Lipton's "Magnificent Matcha" green tea with ginger.

From Starbucks: I took advantage of Starbucks' promos of their new Teavana Tea Lattes (50% off  from 3-6 pm, March 2-5) to try out their new Matcha Tea Latte described as, "A vegetal and smooth blend from Japan, China and Korea."

Do you drink matcha teas?
