Cold brewing teas in June

As National Iced Tea Month draws to a close, I wanted to share my favourite cold tea brewers.

My Paderno Cold Brew Coffee/Tea Maker is perfect for 6 cups of tea (1500 ml)!

This Hario Cold Brew Tea Filter in Bottle can brew 750 ml of tea (3-4 cups).

This Hario Cold Brew Mini Iced Teapot is good for up to 700 ml of tea (2-3 cups).

The Dollarama influencers persuaded me to buy this adorable incandescent cupcake-style mason jar cup. The teas look so pretty in them!

Church Garage Sale Haul #2: More Teacups!

The second church garage sale I went to last month was selling teacups and saucers for only 25 cents each! I was tempted to buy ALL the teacups, but I restrained myself and only brought 4 teacups home with me.

Teacup #1 is by Hammersley and decorated with dainty rosebuds. It's smaller than the average teacup.

Teacup #2 is also made in England, but doesn't have the pottery's stamp.

Teacup #3 is by Queen Anne and is perfect for St. Patrick's Day.

Teacup #4 is a mismatched violets set of a Colcough teacup and a Royal Albert saucer.

When I arrived home, I discovered that I had a Colcough saucer with violets! The teacup is older than the saucer, but I think they make the perfect match!

A tea cozy made of vintage linen

Last month, I was gifted a beautiful vintage linen tea cozy made by the talented Lauren from Wonderfully Made.

I love the pretty design and it fits my different teapots perfectly!

Thank you, Lauren, for the wonderful gift!

A Platinum Jubilee Tea Party

Last weekend, I celebrated the Platinum Jubilee of the Queen with an outdoor tea party hosted by a family friend.

The beautiful table spread.

I tried all 3 sandwiches (egg salad, cucumber and cream cheese, and salmon), and couldn't resist trying the purple topped donut!

Of course, you can't have tea without scones and Devonshire cream!

Pouring spicy mango green tea into this beautiful purple Royal Albert Jacobean teacup.

Our friend also baked traditional rock cakes--a tasty British classic treat for tea time!
