New teas I tried in July

Let's wrap up July with the new teas that I tried this month!

Green Teas

Top: Genuine Tea's Lavender Sencha was a pleasant green tea blend of berries and lavender.

Bottom: I finally tried the Genmaicha tea that my friend gave me when she visited the Tokyo Disney Resort in 2019 (!).

DavidsTea's fruity matchas were perfect for the summer! Next time, I'll have to try them as iced lattes.

Left: Banana

Right: Peach Unsweetened (top) and Blueberry (bottom)

More fruity blends from DavidsTea that are also great cold brewed.

Left: Happy Kombucha is a mango oolong

Right: Reishi Relax is a berry fruit infusion (top); Bumbleberry Burst is a berry pu-erh (bottom)

What have you been sipping this summer?

Church Garage Sale Haul #3

The final church garage sale didn't disappoint with the tea-related treasures.

I couldn't resist getting three (3) teacups for only $2 each.

Teacup #1: The August teacup from the Royal Albert Flower of the Month series

Teacup #2: "K" from Paragon's Flower Festival series

Teacup #3:I loved the seafoam green colour.
The backstamp looks new, but I can't read the pottery's name. Can you make it out?

Tea cozy #1: The blue embroidery is so pretty!

Tea cozy #2: Time for Tea!

This vase gave Murano glass (from Italy) vibes. But my online research says it's likely a vintage vase (circa 1970s?) from Japan...

This plastic tray is perfect for outdoor tea times.

I got this basket...

...to display my teacups!

Lovely Lavender

I'm loving all things lavender!

My lavender wave mug set

This cute lavender tea set comes with sugar and creamer.

My favourite teas from Dessert by Deb's "Lady Lavender" collection.

Black Teas (top): Lavender London Fog (left) and Blueberry Lavender Angel Food Cake also make great lattes.

Green Teas (Bottom): Lemon Lavender Spritzer and Lavender Peach Pound Cake are also refreshing as cold-brewed teas.

I stockpiled DavidsTea's Lavender Buttercream Rooibos before it was retired.

Genuine Tea's Organic Lavender Sencha was a lovely berry green tea with a light note of lavender. After enjoying it as a hot tea, I used the same tea leaves to make a refreshing cold-brewed tea!

Totalitea's Lavender Blues herbal tea was delicious cold brewed (left), as well as served hot (right).

I found this cute towel for $2 at Dollarama.

Repurposing broken teacups: Wall art

I've found a fun way to repurpose my broken teacups!

The hanging teacup wall art in my kitchen was inspired by this post.

Now I have something pretty to look at when I'm washing the dishes!

After supergluing the teacups and saucers together, I used Command Strips to hang the teacups and plate on the wall. They've been hanging on the wall for 6 weeks. So far, so good!

June empties

What I've already stockpiled:
1) DavidsTea's Tropicalia fruit infusion

What I may repurchase from time to time:
1) DavidsTea's Very Cherry green tea
2) Tea at the White House's Peaches and Cream oolong
3) Totalitea's Lavender Blues fruit infusion
