The RBG's autumn display included pumpkins, chrysanthemums, and interesting purple flowers that resembled cabbage heads.
I always keep an eye out for black teacups during my treasure hunts and scooped up this pretty pair at the local antique store last year for only $5 each!
The Paragon backstamp includes the name of the pattern: Mums.
Chrysanthemum is the birth flower of November.
I'm joining the following parties this week:
Oh, Margie, your teacups are beautiful! How pretty the mums are on those cups and saucers! You did well for five dollars a piece. The plants are wonderful too. I have always admired those cabbages. Thanks for sharing with us and have a lovely day.

Oh Margie, your new teacups are both so pretty and what a deal they were, and so perfect for November. I love having seasonal teacups that I bring out to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful photos, Margie!
ReplyDeleteI love chrysanthemums and those on your teacups are wonderful.
Have a lovely new week!
Oh Margie,
ReplyDeleteWhat a steal! I love the teacups - black backgrounds always look so rich and I would have bought those elegant teacups too! I have never seen such pretty cups and saucers. They look beautiful together! ~ Eye candy! Happy Tea Day! Karen
You are lucky Margie to have picked up such pretty teacups for only $5 each. Our antique barn is overpriced in this regard and more stuff would sell if the vendors lowered their prices.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! I love mums and have a pot of yellow mums in my patio right now. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThe mums on my front porch need cutting back and removing. No flowers left at all. But oh, those mums on the teacup are so lovely. You can enjoy them all year long!
ReplyDeleteOoh -- beautiful!! I love black in teacups, so elegant. Fabulous finds, Margie! I agree with Judith, our antique store is quite pricey.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and what a great deal. The mums are gorgeous too....Christine
ReplyDeleteLove the teacups and the mums, but you didn't even mention the beautiful flowering kale!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful mums and tea cup! This summer I moved away from a house that had two deep red mum plants. They should be blooming right now and I'm sorry to miss them!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tea cups the Paragon Mums. Perfect for the season and the black makes them look stunning.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Mums both the live ones and on the Tea cup and saucer which are simply stunning!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Deb
Pretty, pretty, the cups match the beautiful botanical gardens. Thanks for sharing, Sandi
ReplyDelete$5.00 each! Wow! The tea cups are stunning, my friend, and the black one is quite unique. I found it interesting that you keep an eye out for black tea cups.....I shall have to remember that {{smiles}}
ReplyDeleteIt's SO good to visit with you. Enjoy the remainder of your week. Hugs!
Lovely teacups and mums I just bought some Orange Yellows ones... Happy new week with love Janice
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to the RBG for a few years (since we moved my dad out of Burlington). I had my wedding photos taken there in front of Hendries(?) gates. The displays look very pretty with all the fall colours. I too like black in a tea cup, and these two that you found are beauties! I different flower for a tea cup, but they look adorable. Enjoy your day Margie :)

Those are beautiful teacups and bought at bargain prices. They do go well with your picture of the display at the RBG, perfect teacups for autumnal tea times.
ReplyDeleteThe tea cups are stunning. A real delight. And the mosaic is so full of color and pretty. Love all of the color.
ReplyDeleteYour mums are so pretty and cheerful, especially on the cup! Wonderful!
