Let's Go Dutch!

This past weekend, I visited a friend and met her adorable new baby girl. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at The Dutch Shop in Grimsby.

My Hawaiian grilled cheese sandwich--a yummy combination of mozzarella cheese, Black Forest Ham, and pineapple. My grilled cheese was accompanied by a cup of Pickwick Black Currant herbal tea.

After we finished our lunch, we browsed the Dutch merchandise.

The Dutch Shop's impressive tea selections.
This is just 1 of the 3 tea displays! I wanted to try them all but I restrained myself to just a couple of fruity teas which I'll share in a future post.

I will definitely be returning to The Dutch Shop!

  1. The sandwich sounds good, I know I would love it.
Nice shop too and all those teas would be hard to chose just one.

  2. It's been many years since I visited that lovely part of Canada, but I don't think we ever went to Grimsby. Would like to stop there if we get back.

  6. That's an interesting change for you Margie, looks like a nice place to visit for lunch. There is a Dutch Shop in Bradford, just south of us I must get to for I hear they have a small tea room in it.

  8. Your sandwich sounds delicious although I would have to have chicken in place of the ham. Ham and I are not compatible. I loved seeing all those clogs. I have a Dutch DIL so I'm interested in anything Dutch themed. Another wonderful tea outing, Margie. Thanks for sharing.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

  9. Oh Margie, another fun outing for you! The sandwich sounds delicious and black currant tea sounds yummy. I'd be wanting to try so many of those teas, too. I liked seeing the tea cozies and the Dutch shoes.

  10. What a fun place - and that sandwich you had sounds SO GOOD - I know my hubs would love it. He always gets Hawaiian pizza, which is similar sounding.

Can't wait to read and learn about your tea choices, Margie! Hugs!
