Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian friends!
Every tea company offers their own version of a pumpkin spice tea. Because I'm SUPER picky about my pumpkin teas, I scrutinize the ingredients to confirm that the blend actually includes real pumpkin pieces, and not just the spices for pumpkins.
I managed to restrain myself so I only have six (6) pumpkin blends in my tea collection!
Pumpkin Tea #1: Monarch Tea Co.'s Pumpkin Spice black tea is a classic pumpkin spice blend with nutty undertones.
Pumpkin Tea #2: Monarch Tea Co.'s Pumpkin Cream black tea has a sweet taste because it includes real maple syrup!
Pumpkin Tea #4: DavidsTea's Pumpkin Crème Brûlée intrigued me because: 1) it was a herbal infusion, and 2) it was a rare pumpkin blend that was not spiced! I was happy that I found a caffeine-free pumpkin blend that wasn't a rooibos.
Pumpkin Tea #5: Clearview Tea Co.'s tasty Pumpkin Spice Rooibos was a free sample.
Pumpkin Tea #6: Dessert by Deb's Pumpkin Pie Tart green tea is the only tea in my stash that doesn't contain real pumpkins. This blend actually contains apple so it tasted more like an apple cinnamon tea.
I have never drunk a pumpkin tea. I would love to drink number 3. I enjoy your gorgeous pumpkin teapot,so cute.Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving, Margie! All of your teas sound lovely. I always enjoyed DavidsTea Pumpkin Chai but I also have Creme Caramel Rooibos and Cinnamon Rooibos Chai in the cupboard. All DavidsTea. I think the Island folks like their coffee and that is why we don't have wide assortments of tea here any longer. Have a grand day and enjoy your turkey dinner with your family!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving, Margie!! Your pumpkin teapot and your pretty teacup look so pretty together. #3 sounds like one that I would like. I don't have any pumpkin tea right now, although in the past, I've had Twinings pumpkin chai, I think it was.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving! WOW! So many teas and so many I would love to try. As with Kitty, I've had the pumpkin Chai by Twinnings. Loving your teapot and of course I love that teacup! Pretty, pretty. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteHusband tried a pumpkin tea from Murchies and really liked it, unfortunately I"m not a pumpkin fan.
ReplyDeleteI hate to admit this but I'm not fond of pumpkin pie, nor pumpkin flavoured tea. Gasp. I love pumpkin cake and pumpkin soup, though.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to bookmark this post, Margie, in case I need to buy a gift for one of my friends who love flavored teas. I think it would definitely be better with real pieces of pumpkin in it, as you said.
