The extreme heat is making me LAZY, hence this week's short post!
To cope with the hot weather, I've been cold brewing my iced tea.
Coconut Blast Green Tea with coconut milk makes a refreshing sweet iced tea latte!
"Hot in Herre" from Austenland's hilarious blooper reel.
So hot in herre...
Your tea choice for cold brewing, sounds refreshing, Margie. I could sure use some in our 100 degree summer days!! Thanks for sharing the "Hot in Herre" blooper!
ReplyDeleteI am making iced tea today too...a cocnut ginger from Harney's. That looks yum too! And I love the pot and the video! I need to find an infuser pot like that!

You and me both, Margie; no ambition to do much at all!
ReplyDeleteStay cool.
It's hot here, too, and combined with jet lag, I spent the day doing lots of nothing. Cold tea is a great idea.

ReplyDeleteI have the exact same pitcher/infuser. I'm really enjoying it and it certainly getting a lot of use recently. Tonight I brewed a Gyokuro Imperial green tea in the pitcher. I should try cold brewing-especially green teas. Your green tea sounds delicious with the addition of coconut.
ReplyDeleteOh my it is hot here in the midwest! That Austenland movie was cute! I liked the whole idea of this geeky girl going to the theme park for Jane Austen! Great clip!
ReplyDeleteIt is hot here too! I know what you mean, it is hard to find energy to do anything. Have a great week. Blessings, Martha
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to tell you...I just ordered one! Thanks for telling me what to look for! XXXOOO

Oooh, the coconut green tea sounds wonderful and very refreshing! It's hot here too, but like a twit I am drinking a cup of hot coffee right now. I had a terrible coffee craving and just had to satisfy it even though it's 90 degrees out {{smiles}}
ReplyDeleteHugs to you!
Yes, heat = lazy! The humidity just takes it out of you!
ReplyDeleteYes, Margie, heat, humidity, I'm a dishrag! Don't be too hard on yourself. :D Funny thing, though, I'm still drinking my hot tea about 8 times a day!
ReplyDeleteHi Margie, I received the Birthday card and tea! Thank you so much! I am having blogger problems so have not been on it much! It is hot here also, I am staying in the air- conditioning!
ReplyDeleteYour ice tea sounds delicious! I have only made black ice tea, I guess I better get creative! We don't have many hot hot days where I live, mostly in the 70,s! Hope you have cooler days soon!

Those ladies would be hot in those long dresses! Gloves can be very hot too! Thanks for sharing and linking. I have been drinking Yorkshire Gold all week - iced for sure!
ReplyDeleteI need me some iced tea right now! Hope you are having a lovely Sunday ♥

The tea looks delicious. The only time I have had true ice tea wass with my Floridian relatives, it was a regular thing they made from scratch, I used the stuff in the tin...you know, the one with all the sugar lol. I have yet to try to make it myself.
