As soon as the calendar flips to September, I go pumpkin crazy.
I kicked off the Labour Day weekend with my first pumpkin spice frappucino.
The inaugural pumpkin spice tea (by Tazo Teas) of the season was sipped from this charming mug (Made in England!) purchased from HomeSense over the summer.
I also couldn't resist trying the Pillsbury Ready to Bake! pumpkin spice cookies. Very tasty!
With the official start of the fall season just days away, I'm looking forward to:
There are still a few days left to sign up for The Enchanting Rose's 9th Teacup & Mug Exchange! Click here for more info.
I am SO EXCITED for the series premiere of "Designated Survivor" on September 21st.
I feel a frisson of excitement every time I see the promos. Please note that I will be incommunicado from 10-11 pm on Wednesdays as the new president requires my undivided attention.
Mark your calendars: the Royal Botanical Gardens (Burlington, Ontario) is hosting its first Tea Festival on November 5th. I will definitely be there!
What are you looking forward to this fall?
I'm joining the following parties this week:
Margie, be sure I don't miss your Tea Festival reports! How I wish I could be there! On the first day of autumn a friend and I will be taking a full-blown afternoon tea "on the road," taking it to an elderly (over 90) friend who is recuperating after a hospital stay.
ReplyDeleteI love your kick off to Fall! There are lots of goodies out there. Enjoy your week!

Oh friend, you have me craving pumpkin! I made a pumpkin cake last week and well, it did not last long :) Your pumpkin cookies look delicious! And I think maybe I need to swing by Starbucks this afternoon for a pumpkin latte :)
ReplyDeleteHappy hugs to you!
Love the mug!
ReplyDeleteHey Margie,
ReplyDeleteThat is a cute mug you found. I found something at Home Sense the other day too but it's not tea related. I am however tickled I found it and I will be sharing it one of these days. It's time I made my way into Starbuck's and get me some pumpkin spice too.
I am looking forward to seeing Keifer Sutherland in his new role as well. It should be interesting! You must be a fan, are you? Thanks for sharing and for your nice comment today. Have a wonderful week, my friend.
Blessings,
Sandi

ReplyDeleteJust listen to you!! It would seem you've had enough of hot & sticky summer?! Your pumpkin drinks sound yummy, and oddly enough even refreshing! That's a cute mug. I like checking out the mugs & teacups in Home Sense too. OK, I know you don't want to hear another "connection" with me, but I had my wedding photos taken in the RBG, right in front of Hendries Gates (do you know them?).

Designated Survivor sounds interesting! I hope it lives up to your expectations. Oooh, those pumpkin spice cookies look good. You are making me hungry! I've never had a pumpkin spice frappucino, but that whipped cream on top of it sure looks good!
ReplyDeleteHi Margie,
