I have a weakness for purple teacups so I was thrilled to score this beauty at a church sale last summer.
The teacup was made by Royal Albert.
The pretty purple and yellow combination are perfect for Easter!
I blame Lorrie for my latest impulse purchase. Recently, she shared her cute polka dot wellies...
...the next thing I knew, these purple rainboots by Kamik arrived at my door!
These rubber boots (my first pair!) are recyclable, orthotic-friendly and made in Canada.
The rubber sole has great traction and the squeaking was minimal.
I don't usually order shoes online because I like to try them on first (my feet are VERY picky!). So I was relieved and happy to discover that the waterproof boots could accommodate my orthotics and were comfortable.
Hi Margie, I love the purple tea cup! Such a rich color. Your rain boots are cute as can be. Have a great Monday.
ReplyDeletePurplicious!! Please take the teacup off the boots before it falls! Love both your teacup and rubber boots. I have never had rubber boots since I was a kid, and mine were always shiny black. You won't be puddle jumping in those this week. I think it should read "Let it snow" ... get ready for the last hurrah dearie ;)

PS did you get your KS fix this past week?
What a cute post, Margie, and I love the play on words! You're so clever. Your purple teacup is perfect for Easter and those wellies are just so adorable. I'm sure you'll enjoy using both of those pretty, purple presents to yourself, which you deserve.
ReplyDeleteI love the purple, Margie. Enjoy and stay dry!
ReplyDeleteThat is a very pretty teacup and it's RA too! Super cute purple wellies too. I haven't owned a pair since I was a child and I really have no reason to wear them now other than they're just really cute. DS is getting really interesting, isn't it? It's my hubby's favourite new show and I guess mine too. Have a fab week, Margie.

TOO CUTE, Margie!
ReplyDeleteMy eldest daughter has worn wellies for years (she married a Brit, perhaps that's the reason.) I have always admired hers. Yours take the cake - and so you now can slosh about, stay dry and drink tea in that pretty cup to your heart's content! : - )
My dear Margie, I am loving your purple! You can wear your cute boots while sipping tea from your purple tea cup....oh, you will look divine :)
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend! Hugs!
Your new purple wellies are very pretty, Margie. They must feel light as a feather, being orthotic-friendly!Enjoy!
