In my last post, there were numerous comments praising my restraint on the tea goodies spotted at the stores. Welllllll, being Superwoman (it's not easy).
While I was window shopping at Winners, my kryptonite appeared in the form of this super cute mug by Rose of England (Made in the United Kingdom). I just had to rescue this lonely bone china mug from the clearance rack!
I celebrated Earth Hour with this teacup scented soy candle by Mor.
How are you lighting up your corner of the world?
I'm joining the following parties this week:
That mug would be hard to resist, Margie, and I'm glad that you rescued it! Your teacup candle is sooo pretty, and I hope it smells nice, too. How am I lighting my world? I do light candles every evening in my bedroom and bathroom. I have to admit that I'm a bit of a candle hoarder!!
ReplyDeleteI would have had to rescue that mug as well. It is so cute! Have a wonderful day. Blessings, Martha
ReplyDeleteThat is a wonderful mug, and you can never have too many mugs. I should know as I have a cupboard full of them from various places we have visited.
ReplyDeleteMugs at Winners are hard to resist, and one made in England would be a winner to take home (pun intended).
ReplyDeleteThat mug was sitting there waiting for you Margie, - meant to be that you take it home.
ReplyDeleteI keep the twinkle in our home by lighting the (Christmas) now Easter tree in the living room and I've strung silk cherry blossoms with spring coloured mini lights in the big kitchen window.
xx
That cup is just the cutest! I would have a hard time resisting it too.... Christine
ReplyDeleteI am sure the cup has waken up to offer fabulous services to you. Recently I enjoy masala chai.
ReplyDeleteIt is fun to add another cup to our collections... and to enjoy tea in it. :)
ReplyDeleteYou rescued another cute mug, Margie! I like your teacup candle too. Our pellet stove keeps our home cozy and warm these days and nights. I'm so thankful we have it! I keep a string of white lights lit all year round on our ledge in the family room which is where we spend our evenings. I usually have a little tree in the corner sitting on a table lit with lights as well. What did you think of Sunday night's Anne?
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sandi
A cute mug!Thanks for sharing!Hugs,Maristella.
ReplyDeleteI just loved how you phrase it as 'rescued' and a 'lonely' mug. Not guilty there ! Enjoy.
ReplyDelete"Yes, Sweetie, I'm just supporting National Teacup-mub Rescue
ReplyDeleteweek, honestly---it's just supporting the environment." Sure that will fly, LOL. Cute post, thanks, Sandi
Of course that tea cup needed rescuing. I'm glad you saved it ;-)
ReplyDeleteYour new mug is cute.. i been lighting up my conor with Pioneer women things hehe.. Happy Spring with love Janice
ReplyDeleteI laughed at your post Margie. I love the new mug. The tea cup candle is very nice. My sister-in-law made one for me for Christmas one year using her mother's old tea cup. I love it. Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteWell I just LOVE the new teacup! Perfect! You have some great stores by you...we are too rural for much. Sorry I am late visiting this week... my honey is having some med issues. Thanks so much for linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea!

You have successfully planted an ear worm with "Rescue Me". I saw this same mug in Home Sense, but why did I not buy it?! Oh, I remember, my family keeps telling me we have enough mugs. Plus I just bought the tin mug thanks to your photo ... best of luck in saving the world ... er ... cute mugs Superwoman ;)
ReplyDeleteDear Margie:
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a nice sturdy mug that you will surely enjoy. Especially on cold nights and we still have them Thanks for sharing and linking.
