Going green for St. Patrick's Day

There's still some snow and ice outside, but some greens are popping up inside!

This green corset shape teacup was made by Aynsley (circa 1939).

I celebrated St. Patrick's Day by drinking jasmine green tea by Wuyutai Tea, a famous tea house in China. My colleague had received this tea as a gift but the floral taste wasn't to her liking...so she passed it on to me!

How did you celebrate St. Paddy's Day?

  1. I love the corset shape of that cup, and the colour too since I do love green! I have one like it only in teal. We didn't really celebrate St Patrick's Day. Although my hubby is mostly Irish, he doesn't make a big deal over it. We went out for dinner and then we visited my mother. The usual routine after church. Have a great week, Margie.

  4. That Aynsley teacup is a beauty, Margie, and so is your cloth covered with shamrocks.
I made a Cottage Pie, similar to Shepherd's Pie, but made with beef instead of lamb, to celebrate St. Paddy's Day, and had some of my Irish Brown Bread.
Happy first day of Spring tomorrow!

  5. Margie, is "corset shape" teacup really a "thing," or did you just make that up? I like it!
