Happy National Afternoon Tea Week!
"Summer Passion" by The Polar Tea Co. was a herbal blend of pineapple, papaya and lemon.
The tea tasted sweet and fruity.
I had made it as a hot tea, but it would also be refreshing as an iced tea.
Paragon is one of my favourite teacup makers.
This pattern is called "English Flowers."
Can you identify these English flowers?
(Because I have no clue!)
A butter tart and vanilla slice was the perfect accompaniment to my afternoon tea!
I'm joining the following parties this week:
I didn't know it was afternoon tea week. What a fun thing to celebrate. I like the shape of many of the Paragon tea cups.
ReplyDeleteThe blue flowers look like forget-me-nots. Can't identify the others.
Your Paragon teacup is a beauty, Margie, and the tea blend sounds delightful. I could go for both of those yummy treats, which would make my sweet tooth very happy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect tea respite!
ReplyDeleteAnd your teacup is beautiful, sweet friend. Hugs.
Oh my!I really love that teacup!Just WONDERFUL!
ReplyDeleteMargie, the "Summer Passion" tea sounds amazing, I actually like a fruity tea from time to time. As far as my memory can serve me the yellow flowers are called Craspedia there are many different sizes and can grow as big as a tennis ball, the blue flowers are Harebill, they are actually a weed, the red flowers were harder for me to see but I think that they are actually in the snap dragon family. I could be wrong but if my Floral design background serve's me right that's what they are.The Harebill is also known as a blue bell( a cousin). Tea week I will be celebrating, not that I need an excuse but it does let me celebrate a cookie to go with my tea. Happy Tea Week
