In honour of the rare solar eclipse that is occurring today, I'm sharing my "Soleil" (English translation = sun) teawares by Le Creuset.
These sets were gifted to me by my brother a few years ago.
"Soleil draws on the sun-filled spirit of late afternoon gatherings in
the southeastern French countryside. With its radiant range of yellows,
Soleil is a sophisticated, appealing gradient that arcs from soft butter
to bright citrus." (Source: Le Creuset)

Bonnie Tyler will sing her classic song, "Total Eclipse of the Heart", on a Royal Caribbean Cruise ship during the actual eclipse.
"Turn around bright eyes."
I'm joining the following parties this week:
Hi Margie!Beautiful teawares,love yellow pieces.Love that classic song too,since I was a teenager...Good memories."Happy" eclipse for you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty teapot, very cheerful xx
ReplyDeleteYou have a teapot for every occasion! Love it!
ReplyDeleteYou should have used a black saucer to complete the effect ;) Weird lighting out there this afternoon, but I think it's almost over now.
ReplyDeleteDid you get your selfie with KS????
LOL LeCreuset really knows how to 'sell' their product with their description! It's a pretty set -- love the happy yellow color. We had 80% coverage of the sun here -- it was cloudy and raining all day but just before it reached it peak . . . the clouds parted and we got to see it for about half an hour with our glasses on of course! Amazing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet brother you have, Margie, to gift you with your pretty tea pieces. I was in Ohio and watched the eclipse with my mom, sister, my son, Mike, and a niece. We even bought some Moon Pies to celebrate.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cheerful yellow! It was cloudy here, and my little paper thingy that I made didn't work very well, so I kind of missed the eclipse. My cat was acting very strange though and knocked over my cup of tea right at the height of things. Weird, huh?
ReplyDeleteYour sunny bright set certainly looks cheerful. We didn't get much down here in Texas except for a little overcast look to mid-day.
ReplyDeleteDear Margie:
ReplyDeleteThat was quite the event for sure here in Missouri!. Amazing how dark it out and then back again - such a pretty teapot for the occasion! Thanks for sharing.
Delightful post, my friend! And how fun that a cruise played that song while the eclipse took place :)
ReplyDeleteThinking of you! Hugs!
Margie, love that Soleil. When I got the Le Creuset three-tiered stand, I almost ordered the soleil, but went with the red instead. How is the spout on the teapot? Does it pour well? I hate a dribbly spout.
ReplyDeleteHi Margie,
ReplyDeleteI love your perfect sunny bright yellow teapot today! I actually took my pics on the day of the eclipse and was wondering why they were so dark and then Bernideen noticed and said I should have called it an Eclipse Tea Time! LoL! Have a wonderful weekend! Karen
Hi Margie, glad to finally get by to visit.. lobe your sunny yellow teapot and tea for one.. I didn't watch the eclipse.. I didn't seem to have a interest.. I hope all is well.. enjoy your Sunday and new week love and hugs Janice
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely tea pots and pretty yellow made it even lovelier.
ReplyDeleteHi Margie. Did you see the eclipse? We were up in Alaska then, and basically not visible...cloudy and rainy! Love your cheery bright yellow teapot! Sorry to be late. Thanks so much for linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea!
