Pumpkin Spice Season

Happy First Day of October!
It took me a while to get into the pumpkin season this year.

On the first official day of autumn, I sipped T by Daniel's "Jack-O-Lantern" black tea.

There's nothing scary about this delicious pumpkin spice tea.

I also enjoyed to this tasty pumpkin scone with cream cheese.

This pumpkin donut from Donut Monster made my stomach very happy.

I'm saving these pumpkin spice wafers for our next office tea social.

I had completely forgotten about these Pillsbury Pumpkin Spice cookies in my freezer. Whoops! The package "Best Before Date" is December 12, 2017 (please don't judge me!).

Should I toss or bake?

I'm joining Tuesday Cuppa Tea this week.

  1. You are in the pumpkin mood, Margie, and so am I! I would never judge...you can't believe some of the things that I've found with use by dates that have expired. I would go ahead and bake the cookies, since they've been in the freezer.

  2. I'm sure they are okay if they are frozen.

  3. I'm looking forward to pumpkin pie next week! I'm pretty sure the cookies will be OK since they were frozen. I have forgotten so many things over the years especially when they have been in the deep freeze. It's very easy to overlook things when they're not right in front of you. I'm sure you will enjoy them with a cuppa. ;-)

  9. All pumpkin, all the time, eh, Margie? I'm a pumpkin fan all year long, but it does seem extra special on a brisk autumn day to have those spicy pumpkin aromas wafting around the kitchen.
