The Victorian afternoon tea and service were just as wonderful as my first visit.
The Royal Bengal Tiger Tea was a smooth black tea with a mild taste of cinnamon and fruits that was perfect for the autumn season. I totally wanted to take this gorgeous Aynsley teacup home with me!
Judith and I wore our finest fascinators. The conversation flowed easily like the tea we enjoyed. The three of us are part of a small group of Canadian bloggers who exchange "happy mail" throughout the year. We hope that the other members can join the next group outing.
Thank you, Judith and Wendy, for the laughs and fun times!
This week's pumpkin treat of the week: Pumpkin spiced cold chocolate. So rich and creamy!
Enjoy the last week of October!
I'm joining the following parties this week:
I soooo wish I could join you on your fun tea outings, dear Margie! You all look so beautiful sitting at the pretty tea table. I wish you could've taken home that lovely Aynsley teacup, too, and the tea sounded so perfect for Fall. Thanks for sharing your adventure with us.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful arrangement for afternoon tea, looks very appetising and such a beautiful teacup xx
ReplyDeleteIt was a lovely time again and I enjoyed the company of my two friends.
ReplyDeleteThat was such fun! You know if you had "accidentally" broken that beautiful teacup, you could have taken it home transformed into a bracelet!
ReplyDeleteI think it is wonderful you can have such special kindred spirits to meet and enjoy tea with! And the tearoom is a delight, as well as you three!

What a happy gathering of tea friends! The teacup is a pretty one and the treats looked delicious. You ladies are so fortunate to be able to meet for tea time. I got my pumpkin spice frappuccino on the weekend but I was a bit disappointed. I found it much too sweet. I'll try something else next time I'm in. Have a super week, Margie.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sandi
What a great time you had, Margie! You all look so lovely...Christine

ReplyDeleteThose sandwiches look lovely. What kind of bread is that? Sun dried tomato or cranberry?
ReplyDeleteHi Margie, it looks like the 3 of you had a wonderful time. I love the fascinators.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet that you ladies get to meetup...and at such a lovely place! The tea cup is beautiful. I just got to see one of my blogging friends again earlier this week on a road trip. It is always such a treat! Wish I were close enough to crash your next meetup! :D
ReplyDeleteI agree with Kitty about wanting to join your tea party! I am so glad you had another wonderful time at the tea shop. The three of you look so swete and charming :)
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend, my friend. Hugs!
Dear Margie:
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this tea time. You all looked so cute. Quite the party there!
What a wonderful time you all must have had! I got to briefly meet Judith at the Grand Hotel at Mackinac Island recently. So special to meet blogging friends!
ReplyDeleteHi Margie,
ReplyDeleteWhat fun to go out for tea with blogging friends. You all look so happy and I love your smashing hats! The teacup and food look delicious! Blessings, Karen
Margie, how fun! You all looked so pretty, and those sandwiches look delicious. I don't like to get shorted on the sandwiches at tea! :D
ReplyDeleteLove the witch hat fascinator!!! It looks like you've found a great tearoom for visiting blog pals. Pumpkin spiced cold chocolate--I have never heard of that here! Is it like a Wendy's frosty with pumpkin flavor?
