The cold bug got me last week so I've been drinking copious amounts of herbal teas.
Lemon ginger herbal tea with honey
Apple Cinnamon
Caramel Apple
Both the apple teas contain chamomile which is supposed to help a cold, right???
What teas do you drink when you're feeling under the weather?
Aw, hope you feel better soon, Margie! I always drink lemon ginger tea and sometimes the chai because I like the spices. I have a box of camomile, honey, and vanilla but I find it a bit sweet. I prefer the lemon ginger over all when I'm not feeling because it helps settle my stomach and if my throat is sore, I find it soothing. Take care, my friend!
ReplyDeletePoor you, Margie!! I sure hope you get over the cold soon. All your teas sound like they would help. I don't get sick very often. I do drink warm lemon water, with a dash of hot sauce every morning before breakfast. Maybe that's why I don't get sick?? I also take vitamin C everyday, and if I feel a cold coming on, I take extra. Warm tea always makes me feel better.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon!"Liquid therapy" is really necessary in those moments...Hugs.

ReplyDeleteI'm home today with a similar bug, and drinking lots of tea with honey. Mostly black (decaf), but I'm off to hunt up some camomile if that's good for colds.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear you're under the weather. I'm sure the tea is very helpful! I use lemon tea with honey, Peppermint/chamomile, and breathe ease organic tea when I or my family is ill. Chamomile is very soothing and helpful with colds!
ReplyDeleteTea is also just a wonderful drink to help us feel cozy and warm when the chills of colds hit us. I hope you're feeling better soon!
True, the tea is the liquid therapy! Lemon tea with honey is very good. Happy week. Hugs
ReplyDeleteNothing better than a hot cup of tea when you are feeling bad. It's a hug in the cup! Feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteI do the same when I get sick. I hope you feel better soon, the celestial caramel sounds lovely. My favorite evening tea is from them the vanilla honey chamomile tea I just love it. Happy Fall with love Janice
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon. I'll have my hot lemon tea everytime I'm under the weather.
ReplyDeleteOh, so sorry you're sick. Colds just zap all of your energy. I'm not a huge fan of herbal teas, but when I'm sick I do drink peppermint tea. I really rely on genmaicha tea. It's a Japanese green tea with roasted brown rice. Somehow it's filling and soothing at the same time.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit and comment. I truly missed our correspondence via our blogs.
Take care of yourself.
Hope you're feeling better! When I'm not at my best I like tea without any tea - ginger, lemon, a hint of honey and slavia/sage leaves. But for you I'm sending a virtual slice of chocolate cake :-)

Hi Margie, hope you are already feeling better by now!
ReplyDeleteIf I have a cold I actually just make sure that I drink herbal teas, so nothing with caffeine in it. Other than that, I just drink what ever herbal tea I like.
Warm regards,
Christina
So sorry, Margie, hope you're well soon. When I'm sick, I just carry on drinking my black tea.
ReplyDeleteHello Dear Margie, I am so sorry to read that you have been under the weather. I pray you are better soon. I have not tried the caramel flavored tea! Oh my! I would love that flavor. So glad to be joining you as one of your followers dear lady. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteFeel better.
ReplyDeleteAwww, Margie! I hope the teas brought you back to life. My son had a terribly sore throat for a week. Dr recommended tea with honey for it's antibacterial benefits. My jar o' honey diminished drastically this week, but all for a good cause. Lemon ginger is good even if you're not sick ;)
