My favourite new ornament is this this beautiful glass teapot ornament from Canadian Tire. It's hard to tell from the photo, but the teapot is clear glass and filled with gold glitter.

Church Bazaar Hauls

Last month, I found some fun tea-themed items at some church holiday bazaars.

At the beginning of the month, I attended the local Potters Guild Fall Sale. The show was super busy with lots of people, so I didn't get a chance to take any photos.

 

 

I couldn't resist bringing this charming ceramic mug home. I love the 3D flower!

 

 

This "Healing Flower" mug was handmade by Genie Kim.

A Belated Birthday Present

A few weeks ago, I met up with a childhood friend who I hadn't seen in years. She missed my birthday party in January 2020 because of a snowstorm (one of the hazards of having a January birthday), and then the pandemic and life happened...

When finally got together last month, she brought my 2020 birthday gift, which I had totally forgotten about! Even though my friend and I hadn't seen each other in years, we picked up right where we left off!

 

 

I was delighted to receive this beautiful vintage bone china teacup.

 

 

This dainty teacup is part of Royal Albert's "Summertime Series".

Afternoon Tea at the RBG Tea House in the Fall

Last weekend, I had afternoon tea at the Royal Botanical Gardens' Tea House.

 

 

The "Manor Classic Tea Tower" for 3 people

 

 

I enjoyed the RBG's Royal Blend Tea, a floral rooibos blend that was inspired by the Rose Garden in Hendrie Park.

A Bigfoot Sighting

 Last month, I acquired a new handmade mug by North Pine Pottery.

 

 

The potter told me that people either love or hate seeing the Bigfoot (aka Sasquatch) on the mugs. I'm definitely on Team Bigfoot!

 

 

I like Bigfoot mugs and I cannot lie!
