Teas to celebrate Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour's opening weekend

To celebrate the opening weekend of Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour, I drank teas that reminded me of songs from her different eras!

Self-Titled Debut - Our Song: Raspberry Rose by Clearview Tea Co.

Got to the hallway, well on my way to my lovin' bed
I almost didn't notice all the roses

Fearless (Taylor's Version) - The Best Day (TV): Pumpkin Chai by DavidsTea

I run and run
Past the pumpkin patch

Speak Now - Speak Now: Mango Passionfruit Eclair by Dessert by Deb

And she is yelling at a bridesmaid
Somewhere back inside a room
Wearing a gown shaped like a pastry

Red (Taylor's Version) - 22 (TV): Cereal Milk by Dessert by Deb

It feels like a perfect night
For breakfast at midnight

1989 - Blank Space: Cherry Berry Punch by DavidsTea

Cherry lips, crystal skies
I could show you incredible things

Reputation - ...Ready For It? Tangerine Dream Honeybush by Monarch Tea Co.

In the middle of the night, in my dreams (my dreams)
I know I'm gonna be with you

Lover - The Archer: Fireside S'Mores by Dessert by Deb

I wake in the night, I pace like a ghost
The room is on fire, invisible smoke

Folklore - The Last Great American Dynasty: Matcha Key Lime Pie by Dessert by Deb

And in a feud with her neighbor
She stole his dog and dyed it key lime green

Folklore - August: Salted Caramel Oolong by DavidsTea

Salt air, and the rust on your door
I never needed anything more

Evermore - Champagne Problems: Sleepy Lychee by DavidsTea

 Bustling crowds or silent sleepers
You're not sure which is worse

Midnights - Lavender Haze: Lavender London Fog by Dessert by Deb

I just wanna stay
In that lavender haze

Midnights - Maroon: Pink Grapefruit Rosé by DavidsTea

How'd we end up on the floor anyway? You say
"Your roommate's cheap-*ss screw-top rosé, that's how"

Do you have a favourite Taylor Swift song?

A Shamrock Teacup

After years of treasure hunting, I finally found an item on my wish list:

 A shamrock teacup!

The English bone china teacup was made by Queen Anne circa 1959+.

I was utterly charmed by the green shamrocks and yellow star-shaped flowers!

Fun at Tea Time Mugs

Your friendly neighbourhood tea lover was recently gifted a pair of tea time coaster and mugs from her local Buy Nothing group.

The mugs are decorated by delightful teapots, teacups, and cakes!

Matching coasters.

 Fun at tea time!

Have you ever received anything from a Buy Nothing Group?

Five in February

We made it to the end of February!

1. I completed two fun tea-themed puzzles.

2. I've been enjoying lattes in this charming "These are a few of my favourite things" mug!

3. February tea times

Cookies and Teamancy's Cookie butter herbal tea for a virtual tea time.

Monarch Tea Co.'s Double Cream Earl Grey (left) and Twinings' French Vanilla Chai (right) for a snow day.

4. My first tea haul of 2023:

I'm on "low-buy" year for tea. But I couldn't resist Daniel's Chai Bar's flash sale and stocked up on some of my favourite teas: Rated R (my favourite raspberry tea) back tea; Love Note black tea; and Wow oolong.

5. February tea empties

What I may repurchase in the future:
1. Adagio's Sweet Nothings white tea
2. Adagio's Ripe for Romance black tea
3. DavidsTea's Christmas Morning black tea

Romantic teas for heart month

This hopeless romantic has been enjoying some lovey-dovey teas this month!

A thoughtful friend sent me samples of Adagio's Love Petals which I drank during Valentine week.

I'm smitten with Hugs and Kisses' light caramel and vanilla flavour.

I'm enamoured with Ripe for Romance's delicious raspberry and chocolate black tea blend.

My favourite Adagio: I'm besotted with Sweet Nothings' white tea blend of peach, apricot, and lavender. I sipped this heavenly tea while I listened to Taylor Swift's song, Sweet Nothing.

I adore Monarch Tea Co.'s Love You Tea, a sensational strawberry black tea.

I'm under the spell of Geek+Tea's As You Wish black tea.

It's inconceivable to celebrate Valentine's Day without this fantastic blend  of cacao, roses, and cardamom. So I purchased 500g (!) of my all-time favourite Valentine tea before Geek+Tea closed their tea business.

Do you have any teas that you enjoy in February?

Valentine Teagrams and Teawares

At the beginning of the month, I sent out some handmade Valentine teagrams.

I created the teagrams using pretty photos from old Tea Time calendars.

My pink corners: A mix of contemporary and vintage teacups and teapots.

All you need is love...and tea!

 Happy Valentine's Week!

Belated birthday gifts

This week, I'm sharing some belated birthday gifts that I received recently.

It's been a loooong time since I've drank the DavidsTea fan favourites like Forever Nuts, so it will be fun to try them again and see if my tastes have changed.

Some fun tea-themed puzzles.

The cat in the wooden puzzle reminded me of Garfield. I love the retro design of the purple "Tea Party" 350-piece puzzle.

You can never have enough tea-inspired hand soap!

A crafty work friend surprised me with this gorgeous tea-themed quilt that she made herself!

This is the teacup side of the quilt (folded in half).

A close-up of the cute heart teacups.

The other side of the quilt (full length).

Can you spot the Alice in Wonderland squares?

The fabulous quilt also matches this mug rug that I ordered back in December!

Lavender Haze

Taylor banished my winter blues again by releasing the Lavender Haze music video at midnight on Friday!

To celebrate the beautiful, dreamy music video, I drank lavender teas throughout the day.

Black Tea: Dessert by Deb's Lavender London Fog

Rooibos: Dessert by Deb's Blackberry Lavender Clafouti

White Teas: Monarch Tea Co.'s Lavender Bliss (top) and Teamancy's Lemon Lavender

January tea empties

What I've already restocked:
1) Lavender Rooibos (Tea Squared)

What I may repurchase in the future:
1) Cardamom, Ginger & Orange Rooibos (Dilmah Tea)
2) Sugar Cookie Sleigh Herbal (Celestial Seasonings)
3) Lemon Lavender White Tea (Teamancy)

I just wanna stay in that lavender haze.

Green Teas

I've been saving this Buckingham Palace Strawberry and Vanilla Cake afternoon tea for my birthday! A work friend was in London, UK last summer and she said that the tea made her think of me. So she brought it back for me! It was one of the best strawberry teas that I've ever had!

Teas that I received for my birthday: Tealish herbal teas and some intriguing Adagio Valentine-themed teas.

I'm excited to try these sugars infused with vanilla, rose, and lavender!

How cute are these Winnie-the-Pooh teacup sets?

I used a gift card to purchase this reusable bag at Home Sense (aka HomeGoods). The teacup and laptop made me think of my tea blog!

I also used the gift card for this fun and cute Rae Dunn "Happy Birthday" mug!

The friend who gave me the gift card almost bought this mug! But she thought I already had enough mugs and that cupcake wasn't purple...So it was hilarious that I went out and bought the same mug!

I'm blessed to have family and friends who know me so well!
