Teas for 1989 (Taylor's Version)

Last weekend, I celebrated the release of Taylor Swift's juggernaut pop album, 1989 (Taylor's Version). Of course, I stayed up past midnight for the music drop on the streaming platforms (gotta contribute to the Spotify streams!). 

On Friday morning, I listened to the album again while drinking 1989 TV-inspired teas.

Thrifted Mugs: Wins and Losses

I've always loved handmade pottery. I recently thrifted some handmade mugs to add to my small pottery collection.

 

I couldn't believe that this set of 4 Scott Barnim mugs were only $9.99 CAD. I had a 30% off coupon, so I paid just under $8 CAD with tax!

 

These cute fish mugs ($3.99 CAD each) caught my eye and reminded me of the Rainbow Fish...

 

 ...but when I got home, I noticed that both mugs had crazing/crackling. I'm not a fan of crazing so I'll have to rehome these mugs!

A surprise package from a tea friend

Last month, I received a surprise package from Kitty's Kozy Kitchen.

 

I've always admired Kitty's beautiful handmade tea cosies. So I was beyond thrilled to receive one of her handiworks in my favourite colour! The purple floral pattern is gorgeous!

 

The tea cosy is reversible. I also love the purple and white polka dot pattern!

 

Kitty also generously included some Teecino herbal tea samples. I'll be saving these samples for my Drink What I Own Advent calendar!
