Dessert by Deb's spring collection

It's been a hot minute since my last Dessert by Deb haul!

Deb never ceases to amaze me with her creative and unique collections. I loved the theme of the spring collection: Picnic Sweets & Treats!

The bonus goodies in my order. Deb surprised me with a couple of sweet surprises!

In addition to the subscriber promos (75g and 100g teas), I received several complimentary tea samples.

When you can't resist ordering the new teas in the spring collection!

What I've already enjoyed from my order:

Top: Almond Peach Galette black tea (left) and Lemon Lavender Spritzer green tea (right)

Bottom: Concord Grape Jelly green tea (left) and Lemongrass Mimosa herbal tea (right)

I also enjoyed the Sakura Strawberry green tea.

This month's tea wagon vignette was inspired by the beautiful towel designed by Deb.

2022 International Tea Day

I celebrated International Tea Day (May 21) by drinking a couple of "rare & innovative pure leaf teas from the world’s greatest gardens" in DavidsTea's Garden to Cup collection.

The Organic Thailand Black Tea was a lovely black tea.

Zomba Pearls is a delicate white tea from Malawi, Africa. The women who work in the local tea gardens hand-plucked and rolled the leaf.

I also enjoyed a cold brewed Oriental Beauty oolong from Taiwan.

Today, the Tea and Herbal Association of Canada is hosting their third annual Sofa Summit which brings together tea experts from around the world to your living room!

Watch on YouTube LIVE on May 23 (08:30 am to 19:30 pm ET)

First haul of garage sale season!

I went to this season's first church garage sale with low expectations...and ended up scoring a great haul!

How  cute is this Easter-themed decorative dish?

Love the vibrant colours of this knitted tea cozy. A tea friend said it looks like cotton candy!

I was thrilled to get my hands on this pretty pair of Lenox Butterfly Meadow Monarch mugs.

I also couldn't leave behind two orphaned teacups...

Orphan Teacup #1 was Fine Bone China England

I enjoy playing matchmaker to my cups and saucers and found the perfect saucer (Paragon's Spring Melody) in my collection for the teacup. Alas, in my excitement, I accidentally banged the teacup when I washed it, which resulted in a huge crack. Whoops! So maybe I'll repurpose it as garden decor.

Orphan Teacup #2 is by Royal Kent.

This teacup was matched with a Royal Albert Serena saucer from my collection.

The Easter dish, tea cozy, 2 mugs, and 2 teacups cost me a grand total of seven (7) dollars!

Teawares at the museum and pottery show

I recently visited the museum exhibit, "Leading Ladies: Early Dundas Women’s Groups”.

The "Leading Ladies" gallery featured stories about local women's organizations that were established in the early 1900s.

The Travel Tea Club celebrated its 125th anniversary this year.

I loved how the ladies learned about other countries over a cup of tea!

The tea setting is gorgeous!

Another tea collection in the exhibit.

In early May, I also went to the Hamilton Potters Guild and captured photos of some of the teapots. I especially like the teapot with the bleeding hearts!

National Bubble Tea Day

Happy first week of May!

On National Bubble Tea Day (April 30), I enjoyed Dessert by Deb's delicious Boba Milk Tea.

I also tried Wall's Bubble Tea ice cream which my mom found at her local grocery store. The brown sugar swirl tastes exactly like the real thing!
