I celebrated International Tea Day (May 21) by drinking a couple of "rare & innovative pure leaf teas from the world’s greatest gardens" in DavidsTea's Garden to Cup collection.
The Organic Thailand Black Tea was a lovely black tea.
Zomba Pearls is a delicate white tea from Malawi, Africa. The women who work in the local tea gardens hand-plucked and rolled the leaf.
I also enjoyed a cold brewed Oriental Beauty oolong from Taiwan.
Today, the Tea and Herbal Association of Canada is hosting their third annual Sofa Summit which brings together tea experts from around the world to your living room!
Watch on YouTube LIVE on May 23 (08:30 am to 19:30 pm ET)
Oh those sound wonderful, especially the Zomba Pearls! One of my favorites here is called Jazzberry Oolong and it too comes in 'pearls' that unfurl and give multiple brews. I will definitely be checking out that Sofa Summit! Thanks for the heads up!
