2018 Spring Teacup Exchange

I'm so excited to reveal what I received for The Enchanting Rose's 12th Teacup Exchange!

Thank you to our fabulous hostess, Stephanie, who once again did an outstanding job organizing the spring swap. Thank you, Stephanie!

I sent a package to Teresa in Ohio. Teresa doesn't have a blog so I'm sharing the goodies in her package here.

Teresa likes Victorian-style teas so I gave her this English vintage teacup from my own collection.

I also sent Teresa a summer scarf and sparkly brooch to add some bling to tea time!

The pretty thank you card from Teresa.
I'll respond to your letter soon!

I was delighted to receive this spectacular package from Lily who blogs at Home of a Lil'Needlecrafter. The package traveled all the way to Canada from Malaysia!

The exquisite demitasse teacup is the perfect addition to my collection of bird-themed tea sets. I love the turquoise details and peacock!

A plethora of teas accompanied with charming tea accessories.

Lily also gifted me these unique items: paperbag clips, bath sponge and rose beads.

Lily is very crafty and made this beautiful teacup card.

Thank you, Lily, for spoiling me with such an amazing package! My thank you card is in the mail...Please visit Lily's blog by clicking here.

2017 Fall Teacup Exchange

It's time for The Enchanting Rose's 11th Teacup and Mug Exchange reveal!

Special thanks go out to our amazing hostess, Stephanie, for undertaking the Herculean task of coordinating this fall's swap and ensuring that it ran smoothly for more than 200 international participants. Thank you, Stephanie!

I sent a teacup to the lovely Deborah from The Beautiful Matters who expressed her gratitude for her package with this pretty thank you card. You can see what I sent Deborah by visiting her blog here

I was delighted to receive a package from Cindy at Creations by Cindy.
Polka dots and purple are two of my favourite things!

My teacup was safely packaged in this charming box.

The beautiful "October Calendula" teacup and saucer is perfect for sipping autumn teas.

How pretty is this Earl Grey Tea's packaging?

These yummy cookies and chocolates made my sweet tooth VERY happy.

Cindy also generously sent me: super cute funky socks (in purple and yellow!), stickers, a tea-themed magnetic calendar, a tea towel, a book and bookmark.

Thank you, Cindy, for spoiling me with such a wonderful package!

2017 Spring Teacup Exchange

In the spring, a teacup lover's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of The Enchanting Rose's Teacup Exchange.

A massive THANK YOU goes out to our wonderful hostess, Stephanie, for all the time and effort that she spent organizing the 10th exchange which has expanded to over 200 participants from around the world!

I was paired up with Jacqueline from New York.
Since Jacqueline doesn't have a blog, I'm sharing what I sent her here.

Jacqueline is interested in the Victorian era so I sent her a Victorian-themed package.
I received the vintage-style kitchen linens on my last birthday and managed to find the same ones to give to Jacqueline.

I sent Jacqueline a teacup from my own collection.
After much contemplation, I selected this teacup decorated with yellow roses. During the Victorian era, flowers were used to relay secret messages. Back in the Victorian times, yellow roses stood for jealousy. Today, yellow roses symbolize friendship.

"I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship." (From Casablanca).

The lovely thank you card from Jacqueline.

I was beyond thrilled to receive this wonderful package from Barbara in Texas.
I was humbled and touched by Barbara's thoughtfulness and generosity. She even handcrafted items that were tailored to my obsession interests (TEA!) and favourite colours (purple, yellow, and turquoise).

Tasty goodies to accompany my cups of tea.

Vintage napkins embroidered by Barbara.
How sweet are the tea-themed designs?

Barbara confessed that she had difficulty parting with this pretty Hammersley teacup decorated with sweet peas (we've all been there, right?!?). Lucky for me, she overcame her internal struggle and sent this beauty my way!

Thank you for the gorgeous teacup and wonderful goodies, Barbara!

2016 Fall Teacup Exchange

The Enchanting Rose's biannual teacup exchanges are always rewarding experiences. A huge THANK YOU goes out to our amazing hostess, Stephanie, for working so hard to ensure that the 9th teacup and mug exchange ran smoothly for the 192 participants.

I sent this Queen Anne teacup from my collection to Tammy in Wisconsin.
Tammy doesn't have a blog so I'm sharing what I sent her here.

I rescued "Little Orphan Annie" a few years ago and thought that Tammy would give her a good home. I was glad that she didn't mind that it was a mismatched cup and saucer!

I was thrilled to receive this Hammersley beauty from Patti in Illinois.
I love the teacup's yellow trim, scalloped edges and dainty floral design!

Patti thoughtfully included these yummy teas and wafer rolls in my package. How cute is this tea towel?

I also received this pretty lustreware dish in my favourite colours, as well as stickers and a bookmark.

Thank you, Patti, for the wonderful package!

Teacup Exchange Down Under

It's that time of year again! Springtime has brought us The Enchanting Rose's 8th Teacup Exchange--a biannual event that I look forward to each year. Our brilliant organizer, Stephanie, did a phenomenal job of running another successful exchange for 167 participants. Thank you, Stephanie!

I selected a teacup from my collection to send to Elizabeth in Florida.
I received this pretty tea-themed thank you card from Elizabeth and we've exchanged a few more "happy mails" since! Please visit Elizabeth at her blog, Simple Pleasures, to see what I sent her.

My teacup arrived in early April and I was thrilled to discover that it came from Australia!
International shipping is notoriously sloooooooow so I was impressed that it only took my package 2 weeks to make its safe voyage across the Pacific Ocean.

The amazing goodies that Lyn thoughtfully picked out based on my interests.

The gorgeous "Kimono" teacup by Maxwell Williams was a trifecta of my favourite things:
teacups, purple, and exotic travels!

I adore the teacup's pretty lilac hue and Japanese-inspired design of chrysanthemums and cherry blossoms.

The fine bone china teacup is larger than the standard teacup and has a generous capacity of 250 mL.

I'm also loving this unique strainer.

Koalas and kangaroos, OH MY!
A sip of Twinings Australian Afternoon Tea transports me to the Outback.
A million thanks for the wonderful package from Oz, Lyn!!!
