Garden Decor

I've never had much of a green thumb so I enjoy seeing other bloggers' beautiful gardens. Some of the creative gardeners have even inspired me to incorporate some of my teawares in my outdoor decor.

This old teapot and teacup were repurposed into a garden feature in my back yard.

Hanging teacups in my front garden.

Another spot of tea in my front garden.

Birdhouses in my front garden
Bernideen's love of birdhouses has rubbed off on me!
The "Bed and Breakfast", red and green birdhouses were recent yard sale finds.

I found the birdhouse with the lasercut design at the dollar store and painted it purple.

Does your garden feature whimsical ornaments?

Edited to add:

Let's celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Beatrix Potter's birth with a cup of chamomile tea!

Yes, I love whimsy in my garden. I have a teapot wind chime that I'll have to show sometime, plus other things hanging in my trees. Thank you for sharing your garden with us.

  13. I love how you changed the color of the house to purple. I also love the wee bed and breakfast birdhouse with a teeny teacup painted on the sign. So sweet.

  14. Margie, I love your garden art! That laser cut bird house is adorable and just your colour! I painted birdhouses for years and had them all displayed above my kitchen cabinets. One side of cabinets I turned into a village lit up with fairy lights. I loved it for a while and then decided to change it all out with my teapot collection. Since we are downsizing I haven't got much out in the way of garden art any longer. But yours are really cute. Thanks for sharing yours and linking up. Enjoy your week.

    Blessings,
    Sandi

  15. Your garden is absolutely delightful, my friend! I, too, don't have much of a green thumb...I have killed my share of rose bushes over the past few years {sad, I know}. I have always wanted to add tea cup to my yard, but am afraid they will break... You have inspired me, dear one :)

    Hugs and joy to you!
