First Tea Haul of 2021: Dessert by Deb's Sweet Winter Brunch Collection

And just like that it's February.

 January tea empties

Oldest: Fairmont Lot 35 teabags (Dec 2018)

Newest: DavidsTea's Mandarin Mimosa rooibos (Dec 2020)

I'm proud to report that I was able to go over 6 WEEKS without buying any new teas. The Boxing Day/Week sales tempted me, but I resisted...

...because I knew I would go on a buying spree when Dessert by Deb launched her Sweet Winter Brunch collection in mid-January! This was my birthday gift to myself. As usual, Deb's packing is impeccable!

I treated myself to this pretty mint green teacup with the matching saucer and teabag, and these super cute coasters designed by Deb

I picked up 5 blends from the Sweet Winter Brunch collection, and 4 teas from her other collections.

I got the Cereal Milk and the Hojicha Cinnamon Raisin Bread Pudding teas free as part of the launch's bonus offers.

These adorable stationery and teal teabag holder were additional bonus goodies.

I'm not a big cereal person, but I enjoyed Cereal Milk's creamy flavour. Creamy teas are my jam!

Golden Pear Sunshine (an herbal tea with tumeric) is just what I need to brighten up these winter days.

The Sweet Winter Brunch Collection introduced another delicious orange tea: Orange Cinnamon Rolls black tea

Caramel Custard Flan rooibos tea is another creamy tea with a coconut twist!

Sipping these yummy Dessert by Deb teas have made lockdown much more tolerable!

  1. I am not really a cereal person either although I will occasionally make oatmeal or cream of wheat. My hubby has to have cereal every morning. He and I are so different when it comes to food! I have to have my boiled egg and fruit every morning. Anyway, I'm getting off the topic which is tea ;-) Your Dessert By Deb teas certainly offer you many yummy choices! You are without a doubt, the Queen of Tea, Margie! Enjoy!!

  2. Oh my gosh, those tea flavors sound wonderful, Margie!! Your new teacup and teabag caddy are super cute. I’m glad to know that you treated yourself, and also received some nice goodies with your purchase.

  3. I love your gorgeous green mint teacup and the teabag caddy, just beautiful! The orange cinnamon rolls black tea looks delicious for me. Hugs!

  4. Oh that pretty mint green cup and saucer set is divine! What a perfect shade of lovely during a long mid-winter ...

  5. Such wonderful birthday goodies! I don't think I could control myself with Dessert by Deb's teas. When I was looking at her site, I noticed the cereal milk tea. It seems like it would be a great "comfort" tea. I'm so glad you gave it the thumbs up. Love the cork coasters too!

  6. Such an incredible tea haul you've had! I think it is wonderful to have such a variety to enjoy during lockdown. Hug in a mug is sure!

  7. OOH, the sound of Caramel Custard tea sounds heavenly to me! I am not huge fan of coconut but oh this sounds so good. 6 weeks without buying teas? disciplined! But, its a good thing huh since you splurged a little but hey, it was your birthday right? LOL! Hey, I know how it feels though. I stopped by a little thrift store for the first time since Pandemic recently. Not many people in there and we all had our masks on. I was browsing alone not really looking for anything but then I spied those pretty snack plates as I call them. GIRL................CHEAP too! But....I did not buy them Margie! Aren't you proud of me? I have well over 100 snack plates girl...Now, I am not promising I will be so good in the future. LOL! Hugs and blessings to you dear Margie. Cindy

  8. There are some lovely sounding teas in your haul. Belated Happy birthday!

  9. Deliciious new additions to your stash of tea.
