Fireside Cider Green Tea

Another winter day. Another potential snowfall warning.

These snow days have got me sipping lots of tea.

The Mad Hatter Tea Co.'s Fireside Cider:  green sencha, apple, cinnamon, popcorn.

A light, pleasant tea that's perfect for a frigid February day.

What teas help you get through the winter?

  1. Popcorn in tea, how weird. I've been drinking good old English Breakfast. I'm a black tea kind of gal.

  2. Popcorn?? That's a new tea ingredient for me! I have several teas I purchased from our vacation spot (St. Simons Island, GA) one being Georgia Peach Green. I've been having that one A LOT, closing my eyes and pretending I'm there and not in all this snow haha! I'm running out though so I may have to order more to get me through this winter!

  3. We are having lots of snow, ice, and chilling temperatures. The ice is so bad that my son fell last week on the job and hit his head. Now he has a concussion. Poor guy!
We're sipping lots of hot beverages these days and of course I have to stick to decaf and herbal. Your popcorn tea is a new one for me. It must lend a fun taste to your tea, does it? It sounds interesting anyway. Have a nice day, Margie.

  4. I love your stained glass teapot. More snow this morning, which I’m really fed up with.

  6. The fireside cider tea sounds interesting, Margie. I love trying different flavors. I'm still drinking the ginger/cranberry/vanilla, a coconut vanilla, chai vanilla, and mulled apple spice teas. Soooo many choices to savor!

  7. What fun tea with popcorn in it. Does it add a noticeable something interesting to the flavour?

I'm glad your teas are a helpful companion for you as we work our way through snowbanks to find warmer days.

Wishing you a beautiful week, Margie!

  8. This cup of tea you enjoyed looks wonderful! Sounds like a lovely flavour. I have my tea kettle heating on my wood stove and the snow has just stopped falling outside. Almost time for a cup of tea here to. :)

  11. Popcorn!! Wow, that's a new one for me. I wish I liked all the different teas out there, there are so many varieties. But I tend to like plain black tea or darjeeling, no flavors. I never get bored with it!
    Happy Saturday Margie! xo Deborah

  12. I just love the glass teapot hanger! So cute! At the moment, Harney's Tropical Green and a Harney's Darjeeling are getting me through... while for my Honey it's Tropical Green & PG Tips! I haven't ever seen popcorn in a tea...when we we out for our anniversary dinner, my Honey had a sefood appetizer of shrimp, scallops, halibut and among other flavoring and garnishes...some popcorn! Novel!

  13. Hi Margie,
This snow and my cold has also made me sip lots of tea lately. I love your yellow rose teacup. Have you had any difficulty posting pics to your blogspot since blogger changed? I am unable to post any. It keeps saying upload rejected by server. Please help if you can. Thanks so much. Karen
