Repurposing broken teacups: Wall art

I've found a fun way to repurpose my broken teacups!

The hanging teacup wall art in my kitchen was inspired by this post.

Now I have something pretty to look at when I'm washing the dishes!

After supergluing the teacups and saucers together, I used Command Strips to hang the teacups and plate on the wall. They've been hanging on the wall for 6 weeks. So far, so good!

June empties

What I've already stockpiled:
1) DavidsTea's Tropicalia fruit infusion

What I may repurchase from time to time:
1) DavidsTea's Very Cherry green tea
2) Tea at the White House's Peaches and Cream oolong
3) Totalitea's Lavender Blues fruit infusion

  1. Happy 4th of July to you dear Margie. What a great way of seeing your pretties every day. I have some tea cups that sit among my plants outside and it delights me to look at them when I go out to water the plants. I hope your July is awesome. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  5. That's a great idea, Margie. I hate getting rid of pretty china that might be chipped or cracked.

  6. Such a clever idea! I use mine as flower pots or garden decor but I like this idea as well! I also bought an iced tea pot (non electric) on Amazon last week after reading your post about the different ones you featured. I love it!
