In honour of St. Patrick's Day, I'm sharing this elegant green and gold teacup that I acquired a few years ago.
This is the third crocus teacup in my collection.
One is lighter green, while the other is pure white.
The Aynsley backstamp. My internet search of the gold marks (2797?) didn't find anything though.
A friend sent me this sweet card last week. It brought me joy during these dark days.
Stay safe and healthy!
WOWWW!!!Wonderful teacup!I just love it!That card is so sweet...Really strange days.Greetings.
ReplyDeleteYour teacup is indeed an elegant one, Margie. How lucky to have three Aynsleys. Your card is so sweet. We certainly need some joy in our lives.
ReplyDeleteVery lovely looking teacup. This is the time to really take down our prettiest cups and make the best of these times. I spent the past week in and out of the hospital because of a virus, with taking anti- rejection meds for my kidney transplant my immune system is compromised so even a cold knocks me down. I don't have the virus we are all trying to avoid.
ReplyDeleteYour cup brings me back to the times of the teacup exchange, I really miss those. Keep thinking maybe I should bring it back... Stay well Margie and everyone else.
Your teacup is a beauty, Margie! Love it! Not sure how many Aynsley sets I have but they are all lovely. Stay well, my friend, and drink plenty of tea.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful teacup Margie. I am with TEALADY...I miss our teacup exchange. But Lord knows I don't want to tackle such a huge job with organizing it. LOL! Stay safe sweet lady and remember...dark and trying times we are surely experiencing but God is our light and our hope. Hugs to you Margie. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteAmazing how a little teacup seems to me everything that is normal and sane in this crazy world. And it is a very pretty teacup at that. Stay safe!
