Me: I'm going to stop buying teapots.
Narrator: She's not going to stop buying teapots.
My eagle eyes spotted this beauty sitting on the top shelf at a thrift store...
...and was shocked by the price tag: $5.99 CAD
Reason for the low price: the lid had a hairline fracture
But this didn't bother me since it didn't affect the function of the teapot.
I was delighted to give Royal Albert's "Lady Angela" a good home!
Such a pretty little lady.
ReplyDeleteWOW!Great finding! Stunning teapot!
ReplyDeleteOh she is very pretty Margie. WHAT A GREAT PRICE too! Even with the hairline fracture. Good score! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet teapot! How could you not buy it, Margie? Teapots are my downfall which is why I never go near our Anne of Green Gables Store unless I'm needing one. Which I don't. I don't know how many teapots I have but if I do buy one I always give one or two away. That is how I justify my addiction. :-) Have a lovely week, Margie, and enjoy your new teapot!
ReplyDeleteOh Margie, she’s a beauty!! How could you not buy Lady Angela? She definitely has found an excellent home.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely find! I believe that tea tastes best from a china teapot, and I'm sure Lady Angela would agree with me.
ReplyDeleteI am agreeing with the narrator, you're never going to stop...LOL Lovely teapot.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly is a very lovely find!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time with her!
I was surprised to know that you have rare flexibility. You are able to utilise value. Happy weekend to you.
ReplyDeleteI'm not calling you a liar, Margie, but I believe the narrator ("she's not going to stop buying teapots"), not you! 😁
