Teawares at the museum and pottery show

I recently visited the museum exhibit, "Leading Ladies: Early Dundas Women’s Groups”.

The "Leading Ladies" gallery featured stories about local women's organizations that were established in the early 1900s.

The Travel Tea Club celebrated its 125th anniversary this year.

I loved how the ladies learned about other countries over a cup of tea!

The tea setting is gorgeous!

Another tea collection in the exhibit.

In early May, I also went to the Hamilton Potters Guild and captured photos of some of the teapots. I especially like the teapot with the bleeding hearts!

National Bubble Tea Day

Happy first week of May!

On National Bubble Tea Day (April 30), I enjoyed Dessert by Deb's delicious Boba Milk Tea.

I also tried Wall's Bubble Tea ice cream which my mom found at her local grocery store. The brown sugar swirl tastes exactly like the real thing!

Smart Boil Initiative

How much water do you boil to make your cup of tea?

Did you know that boiling more water than we need leads to wasted energy and contributes to greenhouse gas emissions?

The Tea and Herbal Association of Canada recently launched the Smart Boil Initiative "to show Canadians that boiling just enough water for their favourite cup of tea, can have a real impact on the environment."

Learning about the impact of boiling water on the environment was eye-opening for me.

I typically drink 2-3 cups of tea each day, so I'm boiling water multiple times. Going forward, I'll strive to boil just what I need!

Three vintage teacups

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Easter!

Last month, my aunt mailed my mom a package filled with goodies. I was delighted to receive three English bone china teacups from her collection!

This pretty teacup had a Queen Anne backstamp.

The burgundy and gold design of this Royal Stafford teacup is stunning!

This Sadler teacup matches my other poinsettia teacup and teapots perfectly!

I  was touched by my aunt's thoughtfulness and will treasure these teacups always!

DavidsTea's Easter Earl Grey herbal tea

When I heard that DavidsTea's spring collection was going to include a new Easter Earl Grey herbal tea, I was intrigued and knew I had to try it!

According to DavidsTea's website, it took them 6 years to perfect this Earl Grey twist of lemon curd, white chocolate, and bergamot.

The lemon was definitely the dominant flavour for me. I wouldn't really consider it as an Earl Grey blend, but did enjoy it as a sweet lemon dessert tea!

Have a wonderful Easter!

Everybunny loves tea!

The bunnies are out in full force!

Pink bunnies in my little corner.

A white bunny occupied my clear teapot.

These floral teapots are eggcellent for spring.

My tea wagon is ready for Easter.

Bunnies, bunnies, and more bunnies!

I bought these wooden bunnies at Dollarama and was influenced by the crafty Instagrammers to paint them!

I was very pleased with how they turned out!

Mirror, mirror on the wall
Who's the cutest bunny of them all?

March Teas: Honey and Maple

Bridgerton Season 2 is back with some more swoon-worthy tea scenes!

Let's spill the tea on some new blends that I've tried recently!

Teamancy's Honey Bee is a black tea blend that contains bee pollen.

I could smell the honey as soon as I opened the bag!

I enjoyed this sweet tea in my beehive mug.

The Bridgertons would definitely approve of this honey blend for their tea time!

Miss Kate Sharma--who is not a fan of English tea--might prefer Maple Chai Sticky Buns black tea. This delicious Dessert by Deb chai also included honey and bee pollen.

This light Snow Maple white tea from Geek+Tea is perfect for the maple season in March!

What are you abuzz about these days?
